IT IS IN YOU!

Studying the scriptures I understood that God doesn’t give an individual instruction to do something if he knew he wasn’t capable of doing it. God gave Moses instructions on how the altar and furnishings were to be made. He also provided the man power. He had in mind the people who would do the work.

He had appointed Bezalel son of Uri from the tribe of Judah for the craftsman work. The Lord had filled him with wisdom and skill, understanding and intelligence. In knowledge and in all kinds of craftsmanship. He would make excellent artistic designs of gold, silver and bronze. Cutting of stones for settings, carving wood and all kinds of craftsmanship. He was to make the Tent of meeting, the ark of the Testimony, the mercy seat upon it and all the tent furnishings. God had also appointed Oholiab an engraver, a skillful craftsman and an embroiderer in blue, purple, scarlet fabric, and in fine linen to work together with him. They did an excellent work that pleased God.

God told Gideon that he was a mighty man of valor. Gideon like all the other Israelite's was troubled by the Midianites. He had heard of the Mighty works God had performed for their Father’s and wondered why he didn’t do them anymore. The Lord sent his angel to him and told him to go in his strength and save Israel from the hand of Midian. But he doubted God’s word. He looked at his background and considered himself insignificant. He was the youngest in his family and his family was the least in Manasseh. He didn’t realize the great potential God had placed within him. Until the day he believed God’s word and brought deliverance to the Israelite's.

It’s astonishing how we as Christians despise our selves, whenever a task is laid before us we quickly disqualify ourselves and make it seem impossible to accomplish it. Yet just like Gideon and Bezalel all we need is inside us. It is upon to us to tap into the potential deposited by God’s spirit in us and arise to accomplish our purpose.
